Dear /userfirstname/ /userlastname/,
UPDATE 2025-04-10
Based on the recent pilot project failures, including the pilot project not being what was agreed to in the last DTB, we have re-opened the DTB. We will keep you updated on additional payments for PoC work and next steps on the pilot project.
Please reach out with questions or comments.
Thanks, Candace
UPDATE 2025-02-15
The pilot project has begun. Once those have been completed, we will let you know how it works out!
____________________________________________________________
WAFWP recently settled the Demand to Bargain (DTB) on the agency's check-in/check-out policy/requirement. The settlement includes pay for member supervisors/points of contact who perform this task outside your normal business hours. The agency will be paying members that perform this work $100/month until the pilot project where check-in/out will be taken over by a 24/7 call center (approximately $400 in back pay and monthly $100/month until the pilot project begins). If you claimed standby pay for this work, you will still receive a difference, up to $100/month.
I heard today that WDFW Payroll is finalizing payouts, and you could see yours as early as the 25th of January depending on their processing.
The pilot for a call center to handle check-in/out and Garmin monitoring has not begun, but a vendor, AnswerNet has been chosen. We have provided management with all the concerns shared with WAFWP and will continue to pass those along. We were told the pilot groups would hear in the next week or two. We have also asked for the Scope of Work for the vendor to review and will provide to you all as well.
Please reach out if you have additional comments, questions, or concerns.
Sincerely,
WAFWP Executive Board
